D'Angelico
D'Angelico Guitars were produced in New York City from 1932-1964. It's founder, John D'Angelico, was especially famed for his custom guitar & mandolin creations. After John died in 1964, James D'Aquisto(hired as an apprentice in 1952) took over the family business. Mr. D'Angelico and Mr. D'Aquisto are still regarded as the two greatest archtop makers in guitar making history.
