Luke Hart

Luke Hart picks were manufactured in the 1980s. The unique design of Luke Hart picks allowed for a much firmer grip than traditional guitar picks. When properly held, the guitarist's forefinger would lie on the reverse side of the printed pick(within the depression, as opposed to over the impression on logo side).  The comfortable grip would assure that the guitarist's thumb would lay perpendicular to the raised part of the guitar pick(the printed side).
It is said that the pick's design also provides for a much stronger guitar pick, not easily broken as with traditionally shaped guitar picks.  Donald W. Lukehart applied for it's patent on September 3rd, 1985. Patent number is #4,625615.
